The campaign “Let’s help prepare for school together!” will help more than 300 children to start school
JD Sports, the United Kingdom’s leading sports footwear retailer, is coming to Latvia, opening its first store in the shopping and entertainment centre AKROPOLE Alfa. The popular store will open its doors to sports style enthusiasts this autumn.
Visitors to AKROPOLE Alfa will be able to buy items from popular brands such as Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Pink Soda Sport, McKenzie, The North Face, Jordan, Converse, HOODRICH and others at the new store.
“We are happy that another world-famous brand has chosen AKROPOLE Alfa to enter the Latvian market. In the next few months, JD Sports store, world-recognised and a favourite among sports fans, will open in our premises, bringing sports brands to Latvia that have not been represented before. We are glad to be able to offer our visitors an even wider selection of sports items and be the starting point of this store network on its way to further development in Latvia,” comments Sanita Krīgere, Manager of the shopping centre AKROPOLE Alfa.
JD Sports was founded in 1981 in the United Kingdom and now operates in 29 countries around the world, from the United Kingdom and Europe to Asia. In 2021, JD Sports entered Central and Eastern European countries for the first time – Poland, Romania and Hungary. But now, the so-called “king of sports footwear” has arrived in Latvia.
